The New York department of aging provides great long term care resources for seniors and caregivers including:

  • New York State Caregivers and Families Program
    Find caregiver resource centers in New York and help for grandparents raising their grandchildren, relatives raising children, informational help on careginving, and available State resources.

  • New York Long Term Care Ombudsman
    Report elder abuse in New York's nursing homes and adult care facilities. New york residents can find their certified Ombudsmans in their area using the New York Ombudsman Directory.

    A comprehensive directory of senior housing in New York State.
