The New York department of aging provides great long term
care resources for seniors and caregivers including:
- New
York State Caregivers and Families Program
Find caregiver
resource centers in New York and help for grandparents raising
their grandchildren, relatives raising children, informational help on careginving,
and available State resources.

Long Term Care Ombudsman
Report elder abuse in New York's nursing homes
and adult care facilities. New york residents can find their
certified Ombudsmans in their area using the New
York Ombudsman Directory.
- New
York Senior Housing Guide:
A comprehensive directory of senior housing in New York State.
It will help you find a place with the features you want including active-adult
communities, supportive senior housing, licensed adult homes, licensed assisted
living programs, continuing care retirement coummunities, dementia care facility,
retirement communities, NY nursing homes and more.
